Following is a briefsummary of new food safety requirements for BRC certified sites to be releasedJanuary 7, 2015.

BRC《食品安全全球標(biāo)準(zhǔn)已經(jīng)在2015年1月7日發(fā)布,以下是對于現(xiàn)有獲得BRC認(rèn)證企業(yè)的關(guān)于新版《食品安全全球標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》主要變化簡要介紹。

Whois affected? 誰將受影響?

? All new and certified sites with planned (re)certification afterJuly 1, 2015

所有在201571日以后新申請認(rèn)證審核和計劃接受再認(rèn)證的企業(yè)。

? All suppliers, agents, and brokerssupplying to BRC certified sites

所有給獲得BRC認(rèn)證企業(yè)供應(yīng)產(chǎn)品的供應(yīng)商,中間商和貿(mào)易商。

Whatare the most significant changes? 最顯著的變化是什么呢?

Two new Fundamental Sections 兩個基礎(chǔ)部分


1. Labeling and Pack Control 標(biāo)簽和包裝控制


BRC has formalized packaging requirementsfrom Issue 6 and added some additional requirements in a new fundamentalsection to improve label and packaging control with the goal of reducing thenumber of recalls attributed to mislabeling.

以減少因?yàn)殄e誤標(biāo)簽而導(dǎo)致的產(chǎn)品召回的目標(biāo),BRC從第六版開始在一個新基礎(chǔ)章節(jié)增加了一些附加要求從而改進(jìn)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和包裝控制。


Mostnotably are new requirements for formal allocation of packaging materials tothe line and label verification.

最為顯著的要求是對于生產(chǎn)線的包裝材料的指定和標(biāo)簽的驗(yàn)證。


2. Management of Suppliers of Raw Materialsand Packaging 原料供應(yīng)商和包裝供應(yīng)商的管理


BRC has restructured supplier approvalrequirements from Issue 6 and identified it as a fundamental section. Updatesto supplier approval include increased requirements for supplier riskassessments and two new traceability clauses.

BRC重新解構(gòu)了供應(yīng)商批準(zhǔn)的要求。從第六版開始,將此定義為基礎(chǔ)性章節(jié)。升級后,在供應(yīng)商批準(zhǔn)的要求中增加了供應(yīng)商風(fēng)險評估和兩個新可追溯性條款。


Withthe goal of increasing transparency across the supply chain and addressingtraceability issues from recent food recalls in the BRC Global Standard FoodSafety Issue 7. BRC will require sites to verify an effective traceabilitysystem for all suppliers AND verify traceability to the last manufacturer,packer, or grower when raw materials and packaging are purchased from an agentor broker.

從最近的食品召回事件可以看到,BRC全球標(biāo)準(zhǔn)食品安全第七版強(qiáng)調(diào)了增加供應(yīng)鏈透明度和可追溯性的目標(biāo)。BRC將會要求企業(yè)驗(yàn)證所有供應(yīng)商的可追溯系統(tǒng)有效性。并且當(dāng)從中間商或者貿(mào)易商采購原料和包裝材料的時候,需要驗(yàn)證可追溯性一直到最終的生產(chǎn)商,包裝商或者是種植者。


Whyis this significant? 這些意味著什么?


Fundamental sections are designated by BRCas critical to the implementation and maintenance of an effective food safetymanagement system. As such, major non-conformities assigned to the statement ofintent of a fundamental section during an audit results in non-certification(initial audit) or withdrawal of certification (re-certification audit).

基礎(chǔ)性章節(jié)是BRC認(rèn)定的食品安全管理體系中必須嚴(yán)格執(zhí)行并有效維護(hù)的部分。如果在審核過程中就基礎(chǔ)性章節(jié)發(fā)現(xiàn)了嚴(yán)重不符合項(xiàng),會直接導(dǎo)致不頒發(fā)證書(初審)或者證書的撤銷(復(fù)審)。

1.Product Authenticity, Claims and Chain of Custody 產(chǎn)品真實(shí)性申明和產(chǎn)銷鏈監(jiān)管


In response to food fraud issues in recentyears, BRC is responding by adding a new section to Issue 7 with requirementsto minimize the risk of BRC certified sites purchasing fraudulent oradulterated raw materials.

對于近年來發(fā)生的食品欺詐事件的反應(yīng),BRC也在第七版中增加了新的章節(jié)加以應(yīng)對,確保最小化BRC認(rèn)證企業(yè)采購到摻假原料的風(fēng)險。


Thenew section shall require sites to have: 新章節(jié)要求受審企業(yè)必須具備


? Procedures in place for accessinginformation and developing threats to the supply chain for adulteration orsubstitution of raw material (www.foodfraud.org)

識別和發(fā)現(xiàn)原料摻假或者以次充好對于供應(yīng)鏈的威脅,并建立程序以便查詢和發(fā)展相關(guān)信息。

? Documented vulnerability assessments forall raw materials which considers historical evidence, nature of the rawmaterial, and economic factors 從歷史證據(jù),原材料特性和經(jīng)濟(jì)因素對所有的原材料進(jìn)行脆弱性評估并形成相關(guān)文件。

? Risk mitigation where a risk isidentified 風(fēng)險識別后的風(fēng)險緩措施

2.High Care for Ambient Products 高度關(guān)注常溫保存的產(chǎn)品


Also in response to food recalls, BRC hasrevised the High Care and High Risk guideline to require a documented riskassessment for ambient products, which support the survival of pathogenicmicroorganisms, to determine product risk from cross-contamination andeffective measures to prevent contamination of final product.

關(guān)于食品召回,BRC更新了高關(guān)注區(qū)和高風(fēng)險區(qū)的指導(dǎo)原則以滿足常溫產(chǎn)品的風(fēng)險評估的要求。該評估指導(dǎo)了致病菌的存活時間,確定了產(chǎn)品交叉污染的風(fēng)險和有效防止措施,以避免最終產(chǎn)品的交叉污染。

3. Voluntary Modules 自愿性模塊


While not a requirement, BRC is adapting the Food Safety Standard to allow for voluntary modules to reduce multipleaudits and meet customer specific requirements. Non-conformities for voluntarymodules will not be counted against the site’s certification or grade.

雖然沒有要求,但是BRC還是采納了其他食品安全標(biāo)準(zhǔn),以確保自愿性模塊的引用。以期達(dá)到減少重復(fù)的審核和滿足客戶的特定要求。自愿性模塊的不符合項(xiàng)不會計入審核,也不會影響得分。


Voluntary modules may include: 自愿性模塊可能包括:

? Chain of custody 產(chǎn)銷鏈監(jiān)管

? Traded goods 貿(mào)易商品

? Food Defense 食品防護(hù)

? Food for animal feed 動物飼料

如何順利完成標(biāo)準(zhǔn)升級轉(zhuǎn)換,企業(yè)應(yīng)根據(jù)第七版BRC 《食品安全全球標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》完成文件修改,并在新版體系運(yùn)行后,完成一次內(nèi)部審核和管理評審;必要時,可邀請第三方機(jī)構(gòu)對公司的體系進(jìn)行一次預(yù)評估:


  • The audit duration will be 1-2days (including reporting), depending on the company size and processcomplexity

    根據(jù)客戶現(xiàn)場的大小和生產(chǎn)復(fù)雜程度的不同,評估現(xiàn)場1~2人天(包括報告);

  • The auditor who carries out thegap analysis CANNOT carry out the subsequent certification audit

    開展現(xiàn)場差距分析的審核員不能開展后續(xù)正式的審核工作。
